Our Community Involvement

Although a key component of all of the work we do is to honor and remember not only those who have fallen, but also those who are currently serving in Canada's military, Leduc Branch 108 recognizes that our youth also play a crucial role in the growth of our communities and in continuing the tradition of Remembrance.

We provide many services to our Veterans and families, members, Youth and the community.

Youth Services and Support
  • Sponsoring local Air Cadet Associations in Leduc and Beaumont.
  • Supporting youth non-profit associations such as the local Boys and Girls Club, Scouts, Girl Guides, etc.

Community Outreach
  • Actively participating in City/County-led community initiatives where Veterans and their families are a key stakeholder, such as revitalization of the local cenotaph.
  • Actively participating in local activities, including Canada Day, Leduc Black Gold Rodeo, Leduc Trade Fair, etc.  Participation in these activities is coordinated with the sponsor organization (City of Leduc, Leduc County, local business association and/or other local association).
  • Supporting the Leduc and District Emergency Shelter Association
